    Innovate Nairobi Tech Week 2024: Uzuzi Hub Sparks Innovation

    Nairobi, Kenya—Uzuzi Hub, a leading innovation hub in Nairobi focusing on creative economy, innovation, and digital literacy, partnered with the County of Nairobi to run the Innovate Nairobi Tech Week, a disruptive event organized under the Innovation and Digital Economy Sector—Digital Economy & Startups Sub-sector.

    Dr. Wanjiru Kariuki, Secretary of the State Department of Labor and Skills Development spoke on the National Skills Development Policy of the department and was the Keynote Speaker during the launch of the University Innovation Challenge at KCA University. “The Policy aims at promoting sustainable socio-economic growth by developing a skilled workforce that is employable, productive, enterprising, innovative, adaptable and competitive. It outlines policy actions for entrepreneurship, commercialization of innovations, and commercialization of talents” she emphasized.

    Uzuzi Hub Launches University Innovation Challenge in Partnership with NCBA Bank

    Nairobi, Kenya-The University Innovation Challenge, under the theme of Fostering Resilience, was successfully launched at KCA University on September 27, 2024. The challenge, which aims at nurturing student innovators, was organized by Uzuzi Hub in partnership with NCBA Bank, the State Department of Labor and Skills Development, and Nairobi City County.
